I'm a Singaporean Singer/ Songwriter. I write a lot of songs, mostly about love and mostly in my favorite genre: pop ballads =)

Music is very much a part of my life and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else in this world. I hear tunes in my head all the time, and this makes me want to keep singing. I could be walking, driving or even watching the television and a tune will pop up. Almost everything I've experienced in life becomes a melody and an opportunity to write a song about. I love performing for people and bringing smiles onto their faces. I love recording in the studio, turning my compositions into harmonious melodic stories that I can share with friends. Music is so embedded within me that it is a wonderful distraction, to the point where I cannot get proper work done with the music switched on. =P

Why do I love writing music, and why do I love singing? Well, to start with, I'm an Aquarian, and I love to dream. I love weddings. I love singing at weddings. Because it is just…so filled with love, real people & real emotions. If I have special powers to multiply myself and had unlimited time, I want to be at every single wedding, singing for the couple their very own original love song!

I think that being positive is the best and only way to lead your life. Being true to your beliefs is also important. To me, music is meaningful because it speaks to everyone's hearts. So I will keep working towards my goals and lead a life that is meaningful. I think life is a mixture of good and bad energies. I hope my music can help people by adding to the positive energies in their lives! =)

What else do I love? I love travelling and adventures. I love creating things, drawing, decorating & fashion. I go crazy when I see beautiful things, especially those that sparkle. My favorite colours are pink and white although I generally love things that are colorful and feminine. I love movies and stories, so much that I have to watch a movie from beginning till the end.

I love when people are nice to others, and when I see and feel compassion as well as kindness. I dislike confrontations and having to make quick decisions especially things that matter. I don't think people should stereotype others. I think that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

When I feel stressed and overworked, I seek my balcony therapy. I live on the 18th floor with a view of the sea, the expressway and a garden below. So, I will make myself a cup of coffee and look out to the sea which has a calming effect. The vehicles zooming by symbolizes the speed in which this world is moving and how everyone is working hard and it motivates me. Also sometimes there are children playing in the park. In today's fast-moving society, there are still the little things that remind us to be happy. This is why I say, Choose to be Happy. Life's little pleasures can make your world a wonderful place to be.
